Situated at the top of North Hill in Minehead, with commanding views over the coast and the surrounding Exmoor contryside it offers an extremely attractive flying environment. All forms of model flying are accommodated at the field. One side of the field falls away into a valley, allowing slope soaring to be enjoyed when there is a southerly wind. The Club has enjoyed the use of this site for over 30 years.

Throughout the year indoor flying is available on the third Thursday of every month at the local college sports hall giving excellent unobstructed indoor flying in a large space. All types of indoor models can be flown and model car racing is also provided for.

During the winter months club meetings are held monthly at a local social club.

The club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) and operates within BMFA guidelines. This means that all club members are fully insured and have the full support of this national sporting organisation.
